Alzheimer’s Advocates Share Their Stories

On February 7th, 2017, more than 150 people from California gathered in Sacramento to attend the Alzheimer’s Association State Advocacy Day. The passionate advocates braved severe weather and travel delays to come together and advocate for CNA training, dementia caregiver tax credits, and budget funding to caregiver resource centers respite programs around the state. You could not miss the numerous teams of purple sashed people all over the Capitol doing their scheduled visits to legislative offices.
